CrowdStrike is hiring a Senior Engineer II - Sensor to develop the endpoint sensor component of our core Falcon Host security product. You will lead major components and development projects across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms, with a significant focus on Windows kernel mode development for our mission to stop breaches.

What You'll Do

Partner with the Windows kernel mode sensor development team on architecture and strategy to build and improve next-generation Anti-Virus and Enhanced Detection and Response security software.
Develop new product concepts and support development teams in designing and building software with cross-platform deliverables.
Own features from design to delivery, including participation in product demos at the end of sprints.
Collaborate with multi-functional teams in various locations.

What We're Looking For

In-depth knowledge of C++ and Windows OS Kernel Development.
Strong low-level OS internals expertise in either Windows, Mac OS, or Linux.
Experience debugging memory corruptions, process contentions, and system performance.
Experience working with teams to ship major features and releases.
Ability to lead, mentor, communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team.

Nice to Have

OS system expertise for core concepts and subsystems such as WFP, TCP/IP, USB, and file systems.
Background in security principles.
Strong background in scalable, lightweight, and high-performing systems.
Familiarity with Agile processes and source control systems such as Git.
