Sanofi/Genzyme Corporation is hiring a Senior Director/Head, MVO Health System Engagement to orchestrate the integration of medical capabilities, aligning Sanofi as a strategic partner to health system customers. This role addresses system-level healthcare challenges to improve patient outcomes and leads the development of a roadmap for the Field MVO Health System team.
What You'll Do
- Oversee all MVO Health System Directors in the US, ensuring medical engagement strategy and initiatives comply with policies and regulations.
- Lead the development and implementation of a roadmap to evolve the MVO Health System medical team.
- Develop and implement a medical engagement strategy to position Sanofi as a strategic partner to health systems.
- Contribute to strategies leveraging Sanofi's portfolio to deliver comprehensive solutions across priority therapeutic areas.
- Develop and lead national initiatives and educational programming on population health management partnerships.
- Facilitate collaboration with MVO Payer team, MSL teams, commercial account teams, and other stakeholders.
- Develop a framework for cross-functional coordination to build an enterprise perspective on key accounts.
- Collaborate with field enabling functions to develop field scientific engagement tools that drive value.
- Contribute to and oversee the national rollout of medical strategy for population health, clinical informatics, quality improvement, and real-world research.
- Contribute to the development of internal guidance for compliant engagement in quality improvement, health IT/EHR, and outcomes research.
- Define and implement impact measures and KPIs to demonstrate medical value.
- Lead the development of core medical capabilities in population health, health IT/EHR, quality improvement, and RWE/outcomes research.
- Identify and support medical innovation and field excellence initiatives.
- Lead with an enterprise mindset to expand relationships and maximize collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and governance processes.
- Manage medical field budgets for external collaborations and health system engagement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Advanced medical/science degree required (PharmD, MD, PhD).
- High degree of knowledge of relevant healthcare systems, evolving medical landscape, regulatory and payer environment, and public health trends.
- Deep understanding of data analytics, real-world evidence, quality improvement, and clinical informatics.
- Extensive pharmaceutical industry experience in field medical outcomes (or equivalent) role.
- Field team management/leadership experience required.
- At least 10 years of total related industry and clinical experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to forge effective business partnerships and work in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to utilize time and project management strategies and agility to manage complex environments.
- Demonstrated record of team leadership and people-development.
- Proven record of successful change management.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Nice to Have
- Additional advanced degree in business, HEOR, health policy, or population health is a plus.
- Prior experience in a health system pharmacy, population health, quality or leadership role preferred.
Team & Environment
This role is a member of the North America Medical team, overseeing all MVO Health System Directors in the US, and reports to the Head, Medical Outcomes and Portfolio Strategy.
