LendingClub is looking for a Sr Director, Head of Partnerships & Platforms - Home Improvement Financing to own and expand our critical go-to-market channel. In this role, you’ll be responsible for acquiring and managing revenue-generating relationships with key partners and platforms in the home improvement space, driving incremental sales volume and shaping our strategy.
What You'll Do
- Generate incremental revenue through the acquisition of new Partnership and Platform relationships.
- Target and engage new prospects in the Home Improvement space using multiple data sources and targeted sales initiatives.
- Identify key decision makers and build enduring, multi-level relationships using a consultative sales approach.
- Oversee the full onboarding execution, ensuring clear communication of deal requirements both internally and externally.
- Maintain and increase revenue from existing clients as the primary point of contact, ensuring adherence to contract terms.
- Conduct periodic trainings and face-to-face business reviews with partners.
- Oversee the distribution of weekly and monthly reports to ensure clients receive timely information.
- Act as the primary liaison for issue resolution, providing clear and effective communication.
- Form relationships with relevant industry associations and attend tradeshows.
- Analyze market and competitive trends to provide input into Sales and Marketing strategies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in internal discussions to prioritize enhancements that increase LendingClub's value and market share.
- Help determine and develop the sales team structure.
- Manage and drive the sales team to exceed forecast and key performance indicators.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of business-to-business sales experience in both inside and outside capacities.
- 5+ years of National Account Sales experience.
- 5+ years in a leadership role with the ability to collaborate across various stakeholder groups.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strategic thinker with an analytical mindset and a proven track record of sales success through organic growth and new business acquisition.
- Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
- Skillful negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Ability to clearly communicate ideas verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- This position requires 30-40% national travel, including overnight stays and potential weekend commitments.
Nice to Have
- Sales experience in financial services, particularly consumer (retail) lending.
- Home Improvement industry experience.

Work Mode
