Gartner, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director Analyst, Internal Communication Leadership. In this role, you will serve as a leader within Gartner’s Business and Technology Insights group, establishing credibility as an industry thought leader who creates must-have insights and best practices for world-leading organizations.
What You'll Do
- Create innovative, thought-provoking, and highly leveraged 'must-have insights' content.
- Develop new insights through thought leadership and offer compelling, actionable approaches to client needs.
- Conduct in-depth analysis to identify root causes of client barriers and reframe thinking to drive strategy.
- Demonstrate thought leadership in establishing insights positions across a team of analysts.
- Bring provocative, independent insights to Gartner leaders to evolve research agendas.
- Research, analyze, and predict market trends and shifts to provide actionable insights.
- Provide clients and prospects with actionable advice via virtual or face-to-face interactions.
- Create and deliver high-value presentation materials for Gartner events, industry conferences, and client briefings.
- Support sales by serving as the voice of the market to help Insights teams create content and drive client engagement.
- Provide high-quality and timely content peer review.
- Build credibility as an industry expert to represent Gartner insights, methodology, and strategy.
- Actively participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions, collaborating effectively with peers.
- Identify research process improvements or develop new processes to enhance service delivery.
- Mentor and coach more junior team members.
- Maintain a client-centric focus, actively helping clients engage regularly with Gartner insights.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience in mid-to-large companies.
- An informed understanding of the challenges facing Chief Communications Officers (CCOs).
- Extensive experience leading innovative communications teams that deliver strategic value across employee and external communications.
- Hands-on experience with technology, agencies, and vendors critical to functional productivity.
- Demonstrated executive presence and the ability to immediately establish credibility with executives.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high-quality deliverables.
- Demonstrated excellence in research and writing ability.
- Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills.
- Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data; can effectively apply patterns and frameworks to client challenges.
- Strong communicator able to explain complex concepts concisely.
- Subject matter expert comfortable presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Deep knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within the subject area.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across multicultural global teams.
- Learning agile and adept at navigating highly matrixed environments.
- Ability to represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies effectively at all levels.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.

- Base salary range: $172,000 - $202,500 USD.
