As a Senior Direct Sales Representative in Cardiac Rhythm Management, you will lead the promotion and placement of insertable cardiac monitors within your assigned territory. You’ll engage directly with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, hospitals, and lab staff to introduce advanced monitoring solutions and support their integration into clinical practice.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute territory business plans to identify and convert new accounts while expanding existing relationships
- Educate healthcare providers on device functionality, clinical applications, and patient selection through in-services and one-on-one training
- Manage inventory logistics and ensure accurate documentation for patient follow-up processes
- Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and pricing to inform strategic outreach and positioning
- Prepare sales reports, analyze performance metrics, and maintain CRM records with up-to-date activity logs
- Represent the company at medical conferences and industry events to showcase product advancements
- Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to resolve field issues and improve customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or healthcare-related field
- Minimum of six years of experience in medical device sales or clinical support within cardiology or a related specialty
- Proven ability to influence customer decisions and close sales in complex healthcare environments
- Strong understanding of medical device regulations, compliance standards, and sales operations
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and digital presentation tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a consultative selling approach
- Ability to travel up to 25% within the territory
