PulsePoint is hiring a Senior Data Analyst, Tableau Reporting to enhance our data visualization capabilities. You will join the Data & Analytics team to build impactful dashboards and support our data-driven decision-making processes.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with business teams to design and create dashboards.
- Research and implement new Tableau features to improve our reporting.
- Troubleshoot dashboards and resolve Tableau cluster issues.
- Optimize existing datasets to maximize workbook performance.
- Improve data analytics processes for rolling out and documenting new workbooks.
- Gather user feedback to continuously improve dashboard usability and effectiveness.
- Promote and adhere to best practices in data visualization for consistency.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Tableau features and industry trends.
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience with Tableau, from data extraction to designing dashboards with large datasets.
- Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, including dashboard creation, data blending, and performance optimization.
- Strong experience with SQL for data extraction.
- Creative thinker with a passion for data visualization and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- High level of initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness and ability to work 2:30-11:30pm IST, or overlap at least 4 hours with East Coast U.S. work hours.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Presto, Trino, or BigQuery.
- Familiarity with extensions, TabPy, and tableaucmd.
