EX Squared is looking for a Sr. Counsel for Underwriting to join our team in a remote capacity. You will provide crucial legal support and guidance related to underwriting processes.
What You'll Do
- Provide expert legal counsel and support for underwriting activities
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and agreements
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies
- Advise business partners on legal risks and mitigation strategies
What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership
- Significant experience practicing law with a focus on underwriting
- Deep understanding of contracts, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment
- Proven ability to work independently and manage a complex workload
