Iron Mountain is hiring a Sr. Business Development Executive to drive new business and revenue within our Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Data Center Decommissioning services. In this role, you will focus on securing new opportunities, managing existing business, and supporting organizations with next-generation AI computing hardware needs, contributing to a culture that values positive impact.
What You'll Do
- Prospect and engage new contacts looking to decommission legacy data center hardware, migrate to the cloud, or securely dispose of IT assets.
- Identify and drive opportunities for new revenue streams by leveraging Iron Mountain ALM solutions to address customers' needs in secure reuse, data destruction, recycling, and cloud migration.
- Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers, including C-suite, IT, Procurement, and Compliance leaders, identifying pain points and proposing solutions.
- Develop proposals and negotiate contracts, working closely with legal and operations teams.
- Collaborate with existing customers on new lines of business for secure asset management, cloud migration, and sustainable decommissioning.
- Leverage Iron Mountain’s service offerings, including compliance and data security, to meet customer needs.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas through new business acquisition and account expansion.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience selling IT asset disposition (ITAD) services, data destruction, or cloud migration solutions.
- Knowledge of compliance standards such as GDPR and environmental regulations related to IT equipment recycling and disposal.
- Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- A self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines.
- Comfortable using Salesforce to manage sales pipelines, track performance, and report progress.
- Ability to understand and solve customer pain points through consultative selling.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage and influence senior decision-makers, including C-level executives.

- Base salary range: $104,800.00 - $139,700.00 plus commissions.
