Deckers Outdoor Corporation is looking for a Senior Analyst, Global Customs Compliance to play a pivotal role in ensuring our international supply chain runs smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with customs regulations. You will manage key programs, coordinate audits, and deliver insightful reporting that supports strategic decision-making and financial accuracy.
What You'll Do
- Lead daily operational functions for the First Sale program, supporting implementation and ongoing management to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Manage broker entry reporting, including report creation, retrieval, and distribution across functions.
- Oversee daily broker operations such as HTS Code inquiries, census verification, and entry-related inquiries.
- Utilize ACE (Automated Commercial Environment) and InforNexus platforms to produce timely, accurate customs reporting and deliver actionable insights.
- Prepare and manage duty chargeback reports, coordinate monthly duty payment processes, and generate monthly unpaid duty reports to support financial tracking and month-end close.
- Conduct monthly compliance checks, quarterly PO-to-payment audits, cotton mock audits, and monitor entry packet retention for robust documentation and recordkeeping.
- Coordinate post-entry audits and corrections, tracking duty payments and refunds to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide custom reporting and analysis on tariffs, duty costs, and spending trends to support strategic business decisions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in customs compliance, trade operations, or import/export operations.
- Proficient in ACE, InforNexus, and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Strong understanding of U.S. customs regulations and global trade practices, including First Sale program operations.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
