Momentive Performance Materials is hiring a Sr Account Manager - Polyurethane Slabstock UA to lead profitable, sustainable sales growth for our Urethane Additives business across North America. You will be responsible for a dedicated portfolio, building strong market and customer intimacy to retain and expand our presence.
What You'll Do
- Develop strategy and drive sales growth for the Slabstock - Urethane Additives business in North America.
- Deliver on all sales targets, including profitable growth and new customer acquisition.
- Establish and drive the behaviors, metrics, and goals necessary for success.
- Lead new business development initiatives to meet or exceed regional goals.
- Manage North America direct accounts and Global accounts, providing competitor intelligence and market feedback.
- Collaborate with Marketing and R&D teams to support customer technical needs.
- Identify business opportunities, risks, and strategic paths forward.
- Manage performance metrics including forecasting, volume, revenue, new target closes, and new product introductions (NPI).
- Work closely with customers to understand technical applications and promote suitable UA products.
- Prepare and present sales reports and account plans using systems such as SAP, Arkieva, and SFA.
- Build in-depth product, application, and processing knowledge.
- Build relationships with customer R&D, Procurement, and other relevant functions.
- Develop business strategies to drive sustainable growth.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of commercial sales experience within a chemical-related industry, including technical service or business development.
- Experience managing strategic and global accounts.
- Proven project management skills with a track record of high-quality, on-time delivery.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly, including support for New Product Introductions (NPI).
- Strong analytical and lateral-thinking abilities, with the capability to apply insights across markets.
- Demonstrated ability to foster cross-functional teamwork and drive organizational change.
- Effective decision-making and time-management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate a matrix organization.
- Demonstrated proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to quickly learn new software systems, including Arkieva.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP systems or Salesforce.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time for business.
Nice to Have
- A Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a chemistry-related field.
- Over 10 years of commercial sales experience specifically in the Polyurethane industry within a multinational organization.
- In-depth understanding of Urethane Additives market trends, customers, major players, and technologies.
- An energetic, self-motivated, and collaborative approach to teamwork.

- Compensation range: $113,500 - $166,650
