RSC Insurance Brokerage, Inc., a Risk Strategies company, is hiring a Senior Account Manager, Commercial Lines to own the day-to-day client service requirements for an assigned book of business. As a key member of the client team, you will provide direction to third-party vendors and ensure seamless service delivery.
What You'll Do
- Participate in renewal strategy, including market approach discussions, claims reviews, and exposure gathering
- Manage a renewal book of business, including submissions, marketing, proposals, and binding
- Draft exposure gathering information, loss exhibits, submissions, and proposals
- Obtain loss runs or policy documentation directly from carrier websites as needed
- Serve as the primary recipient for daily client questions or changes forwarded by the Producer or Account Executive
- Work with an Associate Account Manager or third-party vendor to issue certificates, invoices, and check policies, endorsements, and audits
- Submit and manage changes to the carrier per client request
- Update the system of record to properly reflect conversations, communications, and policy documentation
- Process monthly, quarterly, or annual audits and monthly reports as received
- Handle contract reviews that are not complex in nature
- Manage claims by instructing clients to report notice of loss or providing reporting support for ongoing large claims
- Set up policies in the system of record to reflect all pertinent information for billing
- Request invoices on agency bill policies within corporate guidelines
- Communicate with the client and producer regarding aged accounts receivable issues
- Generate requests to return funds to the client as appropriate
- Respond timely to accounting requests for information, such as carrier discrepancies or cash application
- Align the company with partner carriers and intermediaries to place renewals with ideal markets
- Implement the “Fewer & Stronger” market consolidation initiative, leveraging company buying power
- Actively engage in corporate initiatives as required for your role
- Assist in driving a culture of accountability and collaboration
- Participate in new business activity as requested
- Actively support corporate retention goals
- Follow procedures for maintaining documentation to mitigate errors and omissions
- Participate in any corrective actions arising from a local compliance audit
- Engage in stretch assignments to further career development
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a Property & Casualty brokerage environment
- Hold insurance licenses as required by the company
- Deep technical knowledge of Property & Casualty business
- Understanding of agency processes and procedures
- Strong understanding of Agency Management systems
- Knowledge of loss sensitive, alternative risk transfer, and self-insured retention programs
Team & Environment
You will work on an assigned book of business and may collaborate with a Producer or Account Executive who has overall responsibility for service, placement, and business development.
