ALDO Group is looking for a Specialist of Field Training to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in developing and implementing training programs for field personnel engaged in utility locating. You will utilize your expertise to enhance the skills and knowledge of our workforce, working closely with field teams.
What You'll Do
- Conduct hands-on training sessions for field staff on utility mapping, equipment operation, safety procedures, and industry best practices.
- Provide ongoing mentorship and support to field personnel, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs for utility locating personnel.
- Ensure all field training activities adhere to safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Evaluate and update training materials to align with industry standards and emerging technologies.
- Implement assessment tools to evaluate training effectiveness and individual performance, providing constructive feedback.
- Work with operations and safety teams to identify training needs and address field challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions and participant progress, generating reports to measure impact.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year or more of proven experience in utility locating with high-quality results.
- Willingness to do overnight travel as needed (up to 50%).
- Strong commitment to safety in both performance and attitude.
- Strong knowledge of utility mapping, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Ability to deliver effective field training programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
