About the Role
This position is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial data through standardized accounting processes. The individual will collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure compliance, support audits, and maintain financial integrity.
Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile financial transactions with accuracy and timeliness
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
- Assist in internal and external audit requests
- Maintain general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare journal entries and account analyses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial inquiries
- Monitor financial data for inconsistencies or errors
- Contribute to process improvements in accounting workflows
- Follow documented procedures for financial controls
- Support the preparation of financial statements
- Track and report on financial metrics
- Manage documentation for financial transactions
- Participate in system upgrades and data migration projects
- Ensure data integrity across financial platforms
- Respond to requests from internal stakeholders
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting tasks
- Apply consistent accounting methods across shared services
- Stay current with changes in accounting regulations
- Escalate issues that impact financial reporting
- Work within defined service level agreements
- Support training for new accounting procedures
- Use financial software to generate reports and analyses
- Coordinate with external partners when necessary
