Lindblad Expeditions is looking for a Sous Chef to join our shipboard culinary team. In this full-time role, you will work in the galley aboard our expedition vessels, supporting the creation of high-quality meals for guests and crew while at sea.
What You'll Do
- Support the Executive Chef in managing daily galley operations and food production.
- Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and recipes for guests and crew.
- Ensure all food preparation meets high standards for quality, taste, and presentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized galley workspace in compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and stock rotation.
What We're Looking For
- Professional culinary training or equivalent hands-on kitchen experience.
- Proven experience in a Sous Chef or similar senior line cook role.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures.
- Willingness and ability to live and work onboard a ship for extended periods.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Work Mode
This is a full-time, onsite position based shipboard. The role requires living and working aboard our expedition vessels, with itineraries departing from the United States.
