Join a creative team as a Sound Engineer on a project basis, shaping the auditory world of an engaging interactive experience. Your primary responsibility will be designing and producing original sound effects, UI cues, character audio, and ambient elements that deepen immersion and support storytelling.
What You’ll Do
- Design and produce high-quality audio assets tailored to characters, environments, user interfaces, and gameplay mechanics.
- Work closely with design and art teams to align sound with the project’s creative direction.
- Edit, process, and mix recordings to meet technical and artistic standards.
- Contribute ideas during early development stages to integrate audio thoughtfully into the experience.
- Organize and maintain audio files, systems documentation, and workflow notes.
- Iterate on assets based on feedback from team reviews and testing sessions.
- Stay current with advancements in game audio tools, trends, and production methods.
- Prepare final audio assets for implementation in game engines like Unity.
What We’re Looking For
- 4–6 years of professional sound design experience in games or interactive media.
- Proficiency with digital audio workstations such as Reaper, Pro Tools, Nuendo, or Cubase.
- Solid understanding of recording, editing, mixing, and mastering techniques.
- Familiarity with audio middleware like FMOD or Wwise and basic integration principles.
- Ability to capture and refine field recordings using various equipment.
- Strong collaborative and communication skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- A passion for interactive audio and storytelling through sound.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine, though not required.
