About the Role

Autodesk Inc. is hiring a Solutions Engineer (PLM/PDM) to leverage deep industry and software workflow expertise. In this role, you will partner directly with customers to understand their challenges and translate their needs into effective solutions using our product portfolio.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with Named Accounts sales and account teams, including account executives, technical solutions executives, and customer success managers.
  • Work directly with customers across all levels, from site operatives to the C-suite, via workshops, scoping pilots, and on-site visits.
  • Own the technical sales cycle of PLM opportunities from discovery and requirement validation to solution architecture, value demonstration, and technical close.
  • Support strategic engagements within Autodesk to promote and grow our customer relationships.
  • Be part of a collaborative team that values learning and solving problems together.
  • Contribute your own experiences and ideas to build on shared success.

What We're Looking For

  • A PDM/PLM background with experience in manufacturing systems, product development, quality management, or complex enterprise workflows.
  • Fluent communication skills in Business English.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the EMEA region, with some global travel.
  • Ability to map current and future state workflows, design system architecture, and articulate data, integration, and configuration requirements.
  • Capability to position PDM/PLM products in enterprise environments and support complex enterprise software sales cycles.
  • Experience using Fusion Manage, Autodesk Vault and Enterprise Add-on for Autodesk Vault (VAO).
  • Knowledge of JavaScript.
  • A solution-focused, technically-minded approach with curiosity and a capacity to learn new technologies.

Nice to Have

  • Additional languages such as German, French, Spanish, or Italian.
  • Knowledge of Inventor and its competitive software.
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Fusion, FlexSim, Tandem and/or Revit.
  • Knowledge of Large Language Models, MCP, Agentic AI and related emerging technologies.
