CLEAR is hiring a Solutions Engineer II, Commercial (CLEAR1 - B2B)

As a Solutions Engineer II, Commercial, you’ll lead successful integrations with the CLEAR1 platform, partnering closely with our commercial clients. You’ll collaborate with Growth, Product, and Engineering to deeply understand client challenges and shape how we scale and evolve the platform. We’re looking for a technically strong builder who’s excited to directly impact both customer and developer experiences. What you'll do: - Develop code samples, integrations, and applications to demonstrate best practices and minimize customer development time, across a variety of languages and frameworks - Drive client integration for enterprise-level clients including building reference applications, prototypes, and architecture diagrams - Create repeatable processes to drive client adoption of CLEAR1 platform - Support customers throughout the presales, onboarding, and integration process, assisting with common coding issues and patterns or troubleshooting - Create and maintain public and internal documentation to help scale the team - Act as the internal and external expert in the integration and usage of the CLEAR identity platform - Collaborate across Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure that CLEAR strategically incorporates customer feedback and new product features into our roadmap - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the industry and apply this knowledge to identify new opportunities for CLEAR How you'll measure success: - Trusted consultant to GTM stakeholders as a product and industry subject-matter-expert - Win rate and technical wins presale - Time to value and implementation completion percentage postsale - Trusted advisor to clients as their CLEAR advocate What you're great at: - 3-5+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering, Solution Engineering, Presales Consulting, or Solutions Consulting role - 2+ years technology experience in security, fraud, identity, financial (fintech), or government (GovTech) - Bachelor's or Master's Engineering degree in CS/CE/IE/EE/ME or equivalent experience in a Software Development or Technical Sales role - Excellent development experience with one or more full-stack technologies, including web or mobile front-end and supporting back-end(s) - Demonstrable understanding of the full SDLC, common application architecture patterns, and experience with developer tooling - Experience working with APIs, as well as web and mobile technologies - Excellent communication skills, able to distill complex technical details to simple terms How You'll be Rewarded: At CLEAR, we help YOU move forward - because when you’re at your best, we’re at our best. The base salary range for this role is $170,000-$210,000, depending on levels of skills and experience. This range represents the combined base salary, annual bonus incentive, and new hire equity package (in Restricted Stock Units) for this position at CLEAR. Additionally, this role will be eligible for refresh equity grants as part of our ongoing compensation program. Actual compensation will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, education, skills, experience, and performance.
