Merative is looking for a Solutions Consultant - Radiology to ensure the successful configuration, training, and adoption of Merge Imaging solutions. You will work closely with Project Management, Technical Consulting, Sales, and customer clinical roles to manage implementation, testing, and go-live, supporting our mission to improve health outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Demonstrate mastery of Merge applications to provide advanced consultancy and high-quality user training.
- Ensure successful implementation, user acceptance testing, workflow design, clinical change management, super user readiness, configuration, and training.
- Assess current state workflow and customer goals to produce workflow recommendations, configuration requirements, testing plans, and change management strategies.
- Identify and manage physician and clinical champion stakeholders.
- Provide input to project plans including testing, training, and go-live plans.
- Ensure customer super users and system administrators have the knowledge to configure, train, and support the solution.
- Deliver training to super users and system administrators and support them in training end users.
- Manage and support the customer during user acceptance testing to ensure configuration meets expectations before go-live.
- Coordinate resourcing of additional Solution Consultant resources for end user or go-live support.
- Manage customer training completions and ensure accurate reporting and tracking.
- Configure the Merge Imaging solution per customer requirements and agreed-upon workflows.
- Support the customer during and post go-live with workflow or application questions and troubleshooting.
What We're Looking For
- Associate’s degree required.
- 5+ years work experience in applicable clinical environments.
- 3+ years IT work experience.
- Radiology experience as a medical technologist with a recognized certification (e.g., ARRT).
- Responsible, accountable and able to work well both within teams and cross-functionally.
- Ability to manage multiple, concurrent complex workstreams within projects.
- Comfortable in high pressure situations interacting with customers and clinicians.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative to lead improvements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding teaching, training, coaching, and facilitation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong application and technical skills.
- Strong understanding of HL7, DICOM, HIPAA, and departmental workflow.
- Comfortable using a variety of business applications such as Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in a related healthcare or information systems discipline, preferred.
- Experience as a PACS Administrator/Analyst or Application Consultant, Application Specialist, or Clinical Transformation Consultant in Imaging Informatics/IT, preferred.
- CIIP (ABII/SIIM), PARCA CPAS or CPSA (HIIT), or other relevant Healthcare IT certification or System Analyst or Administration experience a strong plus.
