Smartsheet is hiring a Solutions Consultant - East to enhance quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction within our consulting business. You will be instrumental in helping customers design, build, and implement Smartsheet solutions that meet their business objectives, serving as a trusted advisor on the platform's capabilities.
What You'll Do
- Lead multiple concurrent engagements to implement Smartsheet across a variety of client industries and use cases.
- Lead discovery sessions to understand a client's current processes, challenges, and requirements to design a custom Smartsheet solution.
- Build Smartsheet solutions via prototyping, iterative sprints, client demos, and feedback incorporation.
- Manage all project aspects, including timeline, deliverables, scope, budget, and client relations.
- Serve as an advisor on Smartsheet best practices and capabilities at scale.
- Collaborate with consulting team members on projects and development, including participation in an onboarding mentor program.
- Review and validate solution designs through internal testing, creating UAT scripts, and facilitating end-user testing.
- Identify product and services expansion opportunities and collaborate with the account team on strategy.
- Provide post-engagement feedback to cross-functional teams regarding additional opportunities.
- Maintain target billable utilization aligned with the role.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Willingness to travel periodically (up to 40%) based on customer and business need.
- High motivation, self-starter mentality, excellent follow-up, team-player attitude, and ability to deliver on defined timelines.
- Ability to build trusted customer relationships and proactively communicate about engagements and potential risks.
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation), with the ability to explain technical subjects to non-technical users.
- Passion for web-based technologies and a desire to deeply understand Smartsheet’s benefits, use cases, and technical elements.
- Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic, growth-oriented environment with the agility to switch between clients and use cases.
- Hands-on experience in configuring, customizing, and implementing SaaS applications.
- Business process optimization experience.
- Experience with Agile project management and/or software development lifecycle methodologies.
- Management or Technology Consulting experience.
