Workday is looking for a Solution Consultant with Planning expertise to join our Planning Presales team. You'll bring a passion for Financial Services & Insurance and/or Healthcare, using your in-depth product knowledge to provide FP&A, Workforce Planning, xP&A, and consolidation expertise. You'll play a key role in positioning the unique value of Workday Adaptive Planning.
What You'll Do
- Deliver relevant technical product presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and seminars to end-users, partners, and C-Level Executives.
- Assist in the closure of sales opportunities by demonstrating a complete understanding of and resolving questions regarding our solution.
- Contribute to prospect qualification, proposed demonstration criteria, proof of concept system builds, and sales cycle closure plans.
- Support all sales, marketing, technical, and channel objectives.
- Assist sales in responding to RFIs.
- Participate in discovery sessions alongside sales to ask qualifying questions and understand pain points, current business processes, and future state.
- Use in-depth Budgeting-product knowledge to provide technical expertise through sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
What We're Looking For
- For Solution Consultant level: 3+ years in planning and consolidation presales, as a planning practitioner, or other relevant experience.
- For Solution Consultant level: 2+ years presenting to C-Level executives.
- For Solution Consultant level: 2+ years of Financial, Workforce, and/or xP&A Planning and Reporting.
- For Senior Solution Consultant level: 5+ years in planning and consolidation presales, as a planning practitioner, or other relevant experience.
- For Senior Solution Consultant level: 4+ years presenting to C-Level executives.
- For Senior Solution Consultant level: 5+ years of Financial, Workforce, and/or xP&A Planning and Reporting.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, and/or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects individually as well as working cross-functionally.
- Outstanding and dynamic presentation skills.
- Value based selling experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Direct Financial Services & Insurance experience.
- Direct Healthcare experience.
- Previous presales experience with a Solution/Software company.

You would be a member of the diverse and skilled North America Planning Solution Consulting team. The team sits at the intersection of Product Management, Consulting Services, Marketing, and Value Management.
Benefits & Compensation
- Primary Location Base Pay Range: $105,000 USD - $157,600 USD
- Equity: Annual refresh stock grants
