The Solution Consultant serves as a pre-sales technical expert, driving revenue by defining the technical strategy and solution design across a cloud-based platform. This role partners with sales teams and customers to demonstrate platform functionality, address business challenges, and advance the sales cycle using technical expertise and industry understanding.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical and domain specialist supporting client-facing sales teams
- Lead the technical strategy for accounts within a designated territory
- Conduct discovery workshops to identify customer challenges and deliver product demonstrations that align solutions to those needs
- Respond to technical and feature-related inquiries from customers, partners, and internal teams
- Gather and communicate customer feedback to product management to influence future enhancements and deliver greater value
- Collaborate with peers to share best practices and reusable resources, improving team effectiveness and consistency
- Maintain awareness of competitive landscape and market differentiators
- Participate in marketing events such as executive briefings, trade shows, and user groups
Requirements
- Experience applying or evaluating AI integration in workflows, decision-making, or problem-solving, including use of AI-powered tools or automation
- Minimum of three years in pre-sales solution consulting, sales engineering, or a similar role
- Strong familiarity with the ServiceNow platform or equivalent technical experience with cloud-based software solutions
- Proven ability to collaborate with product management, marketing, partners, and professional services teams
- Demonstrated capability in territory and pipeline management, working alongside sales teams to execute effectively
- Skilled in listening to customer needs and mapping appropriate technical solutions to business challenges
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

- Certifications in Demo2Win, Inspire2Win, or Toastmasters are considered advantageous

Compensation
Base pay of $84,075 - $130,350. Equity: Equity (when applicable). Includes variable/incentive compensation with an On Target Earnings (OTE) structure.
