Allianz is looking for a Solution Architect to play a crucial role within Allianz Technology. You will be responsible for designing, communicating, and implementing the target architecture of our products, ensuring its integrity and compliance with architectural standards across business, application, infrastructure, data, and security domains. You will support the Area or Tribe Lead in defining the technical roadmap, managing technical debt, and prioritizing technical and non-functional deliverables.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand Allianz's goals and requirements.
Support Tribes and Squads in identifying architectures and technologies that best support product design and development.
Evaluate existing systems to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions.
Design and develop end-to-end technical solutions aligned with business objectives and technology standards.
Create and maintain architectural diagrams and technical documentation using ArchiMate and Arc42.
Ensure scalability, performance, and security of technical solutions through regular assessments.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend new solutions.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to evaluate and select third-party software components.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of proven experience as a cross-domain IT Architect.
Experience delivering IT Services for the Retail and Commercial financial industry.
Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Proficient in designing scalable and secure solutions using native Cloud services (AWS/Azure).
Experience with enterprise integration patterns and technologies like API management, ESB, or microservices.
Experience designing and implementing data architecture, including data modelling and database systems.
Familiarity with Deployment process as code.
Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in Agile methodologies and project management frameworks.

Nice to Have

Relevant certifications, such as TOGAF or AWS, Azure Certified Solutions Architect.
