Braze is hiring a Solution Architect to join IEM’s Application Engineering group. This strategic technical leadership role focuses on designing and optimizing electrical power delivery systems across industrial, data center, and enterprise applications, serving as a bridge between engineering and commercial teams.
What You'll Do
- Partner with Sales to provide technical expertise during business development and proposal efforts.
- Interpret project specifications and guide estimation and design teams.
- Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and technical documentation.
- Develop scalable, standards-compliant power system architectures.
- Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and operational goals.
- Evaluate and select components based on technical and commercial criteria.
- Recommend design optimizations and alternative solutions.
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and thermal engineering teams.
- Refine solutions based on customer and stakeholder feedback.
- Represent IEM at industry events and promote technical solutions.
- Mentor teams and support training initiatives to scale expertise.
- Influence technical and commercial strategies to differentiate IEM solutions.
- Advocate for technology integration and digital transformation.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- 5+ years of experience in power system architecture
- Expertise in UL and IEEE standards and industry practices
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree
- Experience in an OEM environment
- Microgrid applications experience
- Power equipment sales or commercial collaboration background
- Innovation leadership and vendor engagement experience

This role is part of IEM’s Application Engineering group, working within a team of engineers, makers, and problem-solvers who tackle complex challenges.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $120,000 - $130,000 per year, based on location, experience, and qualifications
Work Mode
This is a hybrid role with locations in the Remote - US region.
