Sopra Steria is looking for a Solution Architect to analyze requirements, design solutions, and guide the implementation of distributed, highly available IT systems as part of our digital transformation projects.
What You'll Do
- Analyze requirements in customer and multi-customer projects.
- Design solutions and specifications for software development and operation of distributed, highly available IT systems and guide their implementation.
- Optimize existing and new software and system architectures based on microservices.
- Shape modern IT landscapes based on frameworks like Java/JavaScript and define architectural layers.
- Define business processes, the implementation framework, and the interplay between business and IT.
- Estimate project efforts, conduct technical planning, and steer implementation projects.
- Work flexibly across Germany in offices, on customer sites, and from home.
What We're Looking For
- Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Engineering (STEM), or Economics, or comparable training.
- Proven practical skills in designing and implementing application systems based on microservice architectures.
- Familiarity with object-oriented development methods (analysis, design, implementation) as well as modeling and optimizing databases.
- Enjoyment and motivation from working in complex and challenging IT projects.
- Strong analytical skills and communication strength for presenting complex matters appropriately to customers.
- Good German language skills (from C1 level) and English skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in implementing or porting applications into container solutions as well as their orchestration and operation.
- Initial experience or certifications in the architecture field (e.g., iSAQB CPSA-F, CITA-F, or TOGAF).
