Responsibilities
- Maintain end-to-end architectural consistency across the platform, including system diagrams, event standards, tenant isolation, and architectural decision records.
- Enforce core system invariants and document the rationale behind them.
- Establish standardized integration methods for external systems such as identity providers, CRMs, project management tools, communication platforms, and AI services.
- Determine the technical approach for integrations, not just their feasibility.
- Design and manage repeatable deployment patterns that guide the process from initial connector setup to governed actions.
- Create and execute deployment playbooks, then refine them into reusable, configurable templates.
- Lead technical planning sessions with client teams to translate their identity, data, permissions, and compliance requirements into actionable deployment plans.
- Represent the architecture to external stakeholders, including senior technical leaders, defending design choices and adapting when appropriate.
- Guide early engineering teams in architectural thinking by demonstrating reasoning through ADRs, reviews, and transparent trade-off analysis.
