About the Role
The technician will install, maintain, and troubleshoot solids control systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with operational standards in various field locations across Canada.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission solids control equipment at client sites
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on separation systems
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical or operational issues promptly
- Ensure equipment operates according to manufacturer and safety specifications
- Provide technical support to clients during operations
- Complete service reports and document all field activities
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate field visits
- Train client personnel on proper equipment use and safety procedures
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
- Respond to emergency service requests as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts and tools
- Communicate technical details clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Follow company protocols for equipment calibration and testing
- Support remote troubleshooting with clients when on-site presence is not required
- Work in diverse weather and field conditions as needed
- Ensure compliance with local and federal regulatory standards
- Assist in pre-job planning and site assessments
- Report equipment failures or recurring issues to engineering teams
- Maintain professional conduct while representing the company on-site
