Responsibilities
- Operate all assigned systems and machinery in compliance with established company policies and standards
- Run and service solids control machinery including centrifuges, shakers, pumps, and sizing equipment
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of all field equipment and processes
- Conduct regular mechanical maintenance as necessary to support equipment reliability
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly
- Monitor and adjust process parameters such as fluid levels, mud density, pressure, and flow rates
- Collect required operational data accurately and submit it in a timely manner
- Verify and record essential data used in daily reporting procedures
- Participate actively in scheduled safety meetings
- Follow safe work practices, report unsafe conditions, and help mitigate potential hazards
- Keep work areas organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards
- Assemble and disassemble equipment at various rig locations
- Use heavy machinery including front loaders, forklifts, and excavators to handle cuttings and loading tasks
Work Arrangement
On-site — various drilling rigs, various environmental projects around Canada
Other
- Receive hands-on training with a range of specialized equipment used in field operations
- Work shifts averaging 12 hours in duration
- Follow a rotational work schedule
