The Solar Plant Remote Monitoring Engineer & Analytics will play a key role in ensuring optimal performance of multiple solar PV plants by monitoring real-time data, diagnosing faults, and supporting analytics initiatives. This position is part of Enfinity Global's operations team based in Hyderabad, contributing to a purpose-driven organization focused on delivering innovative and sustainable energy solutions.
What You'll Do
- Monitor real-time data from multiple solar PV plants through SCADA systems and remote monitoring platforms.
- Identify performance deviations, inverter or string faults, and communication interruptions.
- Perform first-level fault diagnosis and escalate critical issues to site O&M teams or OEMs.
- Analyze performance trends and identify key drivers affecting PLF, PR, and CUF.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly operational performance reports.
- Track downtime events and ensure timely closure through the monitoring ticketing system.
- Support initiatives for automation, analytics, and reporting optimization (using Power BI, Python, or Excel).
- Maintain clear and detailed shift logs to ensure smooth shift handovers.
- Ensure compliance with Enfinity Global’s operational SOPs and HSE standards.
