As a Data Analyst II, you will play a key role in shaping data strategy and delivering analytical solutions that support global operations. You'll analyze data from diverse sources including manufacturing, sales, engineering, and financial systems to uncover trends, identify inefficiencies, and recommend performance improvements. Your work will directly influence decision-making in areas such as on-time delivery, cost control, and operational throughput.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate operational challenges such as delivery delays, cost overruns, and margin erosion using root cause analysis
- Design and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards for manufacturing performance, project tracking, financial reporting, and sales pipeline visibility
- Develop and manage scalable data models and semantic layers using DAX and Power Query (M)
- Integrate data from ERP systems, MES platforms, SQL databases, cloud services, and file-based sources
- Ensure global consistency in KPIs including revenue, backlog, delivery performance, and quality metrics
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, and leadership teams to define analytics requirements
- Enable self-service reporting by building intuitive, well-documented datasets and reports
- Translate technical findings into clear, executive-level insights for business stakeholders
- Support strategic initiatives in cryogenic equipment operations through targeted data analysis
- Enforce data governance, implement security controls like row-level filtering, and maintain comprehensive documentation
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is required. You should have at least five years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or Power BI development. Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Service, DAX, Power Query, and SQL is essential. Experience analyzing operational, financial, and sales data in an industrial or manufacturing context is highly valued.
Preferred candidates will have familiarity with ERP systems such as Encompix or MAAS500, cloud data platforms like Azure or Snowflake, and tools for ETL and data warehousing. Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics and holding a Microsoft Power BI certification (PL-300) are strong advantages.
