As a Solar Consultant in a retail setting, you’ll play a key role in guiding potential customers through their solar journey. Your focus will be on building trust, answering questions, and helping individuals understand how solar energy can meet their needs. You’ll engage with prospects face-to-face, address concerns thoughtfully, and support them in making informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver clear, accurate information about solar energy systems to prospective customers
- Identify customer needs and tailor conversations to support confident decision-making
- Respond effectively to questions and concerns, guiding prospects toward solutions
- Maintain up-to-date records of all customer interactions in the CRM system
- Meet or exceed sales targets through consistent follow-up and relationship-building
- Encourage referrals by delivering reliable, respectful service
- Generate new leads and schedule appointments to maintain a steady flow of engagements
- Commit to ongoing learning and professional growth
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving history
- Willingness and ability to travel locally, including weekends
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Must be able to operate a company-provided vehicle
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening
Work Environment
This is a locally based role with travel required to designated areas. Weekend availability is essential. Positions are available across multiple locations in 14 U.S. states, as well as the Netherlands, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
