Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of software features, from initial design and refinement through implementation, testing, and deployment to production.
- Develop and maintain scalable microservices using C# and .NET (version 8 or higher) hosted on Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Contribute across all layers of the technology stack, including backend services, Angular-based user interfaces, automated testing, and CI/CD pipeline development.
- Produce clean, well-documented, and testable code while ensuring quality through rigorous peer code reviews.
- Design and execute test cases, engage in functional testing, and manage test planning using Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate within two-week agile sprints, actively participating in refinement sessions, sprint demos, and retrospectives with a globally distributed team.
- Monitor service health by integrating OpenTelemetry and leveraging Datadog for observability and performance insights.
- Serve as a primary responder in an on-call rotation, supporting both application services and the underlying Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Directly manage and resolve customer escalations, including root cause analysis, communication, and timely resolution without intermediary layers.
- Utilize AI-powered coding tools to enhance development speed and efficiency, with an expectation of fluency in AI-assisted development workflows.
- Work closely with architects, product managers, and engineering teams located in Panama, Hungary, and other international locations.
