Rubrik is looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our engineering team as a full member. You will take on challenging problems within the Rubrik product, entrusted with real responsibility and the opportunity to write code that will ship. This role is designed for you to learn from experienced engineers while making a measurable impact.
What You'll Do
- Work on challenging problems in one or more areas of the Rubrik product.
- Implement projects that could include building a Machine Learning model, enhancing internal tools, developing new security features, or researching new technologies.
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
- Graduating in December 2026 or Spring 2027.
- Experience coding in an industry-standard language (e.g. Java, Go, Python, C++, Objective-C, JavaScript).
- Exposure to algorithms, data structures, and core computer science concepts (operating systems, concurrency, distributed systems, etc.).
- Available to work full-time for a 12-week program in Palo Alto, CA.
Nice to Have
- Demonstrated software engineering experience from a previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications.
