Clario is looking for a Software Engineer to join our R&D Software Engineering team. You will contribute to the design, development, and support of innovative software solutions used across Clario products, helping to deliver reliable and scalable platforms for global clinical research.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, test, and support software applications used within Clario’s product platforms.
- Implement software components and features across multiple platforms following defined specifications and engineering standards.
- Participate in agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, development, testing, and delivery of software features.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and technical leaders to implement scalable solutions aligned with product architecture.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure software reliability and efficiency.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews to improve quality, share knowledge, and maintain consistent development practices.
- Work closely with Software Quality Engineering teams to build solutions that support automated testing and continuous integration.
- Contribute to the planning and completion of software development tasks and project phases with guidance from team leadership.
- Support cross-functional teams across the organization by providing technical insight and assisting with product improvements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in software development or engineering.
- Experience using source code management systems and work item tracking tools.
- Knowledge of software engineering frameworks, development methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with software design patterns and risk management principles in development environments.
- Experience with unit testing and design patterns that support maintainable and testable code.
- Exposure to agile development practices and collaborative software delivery processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively in English within global teams.
- Based in or able to work from Budapest, Hungary in a hybrid work environment.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with DevOps practices or cloud-based software solutions is advantageous.
