About the Role
We are seeking an experienced iOS engineer to join our core product team in Oslo. You will play a key role in building and optimizing foundational iOS components, improving app performance, and delivering a seamless user experience for a growing global user base.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement core features for iOS applications
- Optimize application performance and responsiveness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development
- Maintain and improve existing codebases
- Ensure high-quality standards through code reviews
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Contribute to architectural decisions for iOS platforms
- Integrate with backend services and APIs
- Implement secure and efficient data handling practices
- Stay current with iOS platform updates and best practices
- Work closely with designers to refine user interfaces
- Support testing and quality assurance processes
- Participate in agile development cycles
- Document technical implementations and workflows
- Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in computer science or related field
- Experience with SwiftUI
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps
- Knowledge of accessibility standards
- Experience with performance monitoring tools
- Background in audio or speech technology
- Open source contributions

- Prior work with scalable consumer applications
- Understanding of internationalization and localization
