About the Role
The engineer will contribute to building and improving core infrastructure systems that power real-time customer engagement platforms, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend systems that support large-scale data workflows
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure infrastructure meets product needs
- Optimize system performance and reliability across distributed environments
- Design and implement monitoring and observability tools
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
- Contribute to the evolution of internal frameworks and platforms
- Work on data pipeline infrastructure for real-time processing
- Support deployment automation and infrastructure as code practices
- Ensure systems are resilient under high load conditions
- Participate in code reviews and system design discussions
- Improve operational efficiency through automation
- Maintain documentation for systems and processes
- Collaborate with SRE and platform teams on incident response
- Evaluate new technologies for potential integration
- Help define best practices for infrastructure development
- Contribute to capacity planning and scalability modeling
- Support security and compliance requirements in system design
- Assist in onboarding new engineers to infrastructure tools
- Monitor system health and respond to alerts
- Participate in on-call rotations as needed
