Responsibilities
- Design and maintain core components of the OpenShift build system with an emphasis on reliability, scalability, and performance in cloud-native environments.
- Develop and optimize build pipeline elements, integrating with Kubernetes, Tekton, and other CI/CD technologies.
- Lead architectural discussions and help shape the technical direction aligned with broader platform goals.
- Work closely with product, security, documentation, and engineering teams to deliver secure and resilient build solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues impacting build functionality in production environments.
- Support upstream open source projects like Shipwright, ensuring compatibility with cloud-native standards and community alignment.
