About the Role
The engineer will develop and maintain cloud infrastructure that supports large-scale applications, focusing on automation, scalability, and system health while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and build cloud-based infrastructure platforms
- Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and highly available
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support service deployment
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Implement automation for operational workflows
- Maintain cloud security and compliance standards
- Optimize resource usage and cost efficiency
- Support incident response and on-call rotations
- Develop tools for internal platform management
- Work with containerization and orchestration technologies
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning
- Integrate monitoring and observability solutions
- Participate in system architecture reviews
- Write clean, maintainable code and documentation
- Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Engage in peer code reviews
- Stay current with cloud technology advancements
- Collaborate across time zones with distributed teams
- Drive improvements in system reliability
- Assist in onboarding new team members
- Contribute to technical decision-making
- Work with infrastructure as code practices
- Support migration of services to cloud environments
- Ensure compliance with internal policies
- Participate in agile development cycles
