About the Role
Design, implement, and maintain Ansible-based automation for network devices and services, ensuring reliability, scalability, and integration across diverse environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Ansible modules for network device management
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate automation into networking workflows
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug automation issues in network configurations
- Contribute to open-source Ansible projects
- Test automation solutions across multiple network platforms
- Ensure compatibility with various networking hardware and software
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
- Improve performance and reliability of network automation tools
- Support documentation for modules and user guides
- Engage with community contributors and upstream projects
- Stay current with networking protocols and automation trends
- Identify gaps in existing tooling and propose improvements
- Work with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Help define best practices for network automation
