CSG is looking for a Software Architect to deliver customer solutions on CSG Quote & Order, our next-generation service delivery platform for telecommunications and cloud providers. You will provide technical leadership, translate customer requirements, and ensure solutions meet performance and reliability standards.
What You'll Do
- Work with clients globally to understand their business requirements and enterprise technology goals.
- Provide technical leadership for large and complex architecture solutions.
- Ensure software solution is within scope of business needs and interfaces with customer’s enterprise architecture.
- Translate customer requirements into software specifications.
- Develop solution designs using CSG products within technological, financial, and operational constraints.
- Perform detailed technical assessments and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to delivery teams to realize architectural vision.
- Serve in a product owner role as needed in a self-organizing, high-performing team.
- Perform ongoing client stakeholder management and consultation.
- Contribute to the CSG delivery methodology to drive ongoing improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Design and document software systems and solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define architectural requirements.
- Lead architectural discussions and decisions.
- Mentor junior architects and developers.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in designing solutions for enterprise customers on top of a core product platform.
- Professional services and consulting experience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in producing software design and architecture diagrams.
- A software development background.
- Proficient in software architectural principles and applying them in real-world enterprise scenarios.
- Proficient in software design patterns and architectural frameworks.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Telecommunications Industry standards such as TMF and Mplify (formerly MEF).
- A passion for technology and learning new techniques to solve old problems.
