Thryv is hiring a Software Account Executive based in Medford, OR to drive growth within our software client base. You will be responsible for increasing penetration and engagement with existing clients while actively pursuing new SaaS sales opportunities to meet a predetermined quota.
What You'll Do
- Contact assigned clients to present opportunities for additional sales or extended usage based on their needs.
- Identify and secure new SaaS clients by leveraging self-generated and company-initiated prospecting programs.
- Execute all defined operational processes and requirements with excellence, including client engagement cadences and product certifications.
- Participate in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed.
- Work with existing clients while hunting for new business.
- Educate and guide prospects through the buyer’s journey to demonstrate how Thryv can grow their business.
- Partner with marketing and technology departments to execute sales strategy around product enhancements and new releases.
- Build and nurture a pipeline of prospects and close deals.
- Develop effective solutions to help customers succeed.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of related sales experience.
- 3+ years in an outbound full sales cycle role.
- Experience selling digital advertising solutions with a working knowledge of SEO and SEM, able to educate clients and align offerings to their marketing goals.
- Strong industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build relationships.
- Effective time and organization skills to manage multiple priorities with competing demands.
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, conducting sales presentations while following established processes.
- Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn new systems.
- An associate degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience.
