Thryv was looking for a Software Account Executive

Thryv is looking for a Software Account Executive to drive growth in our SaaS business. In this Santa Rosa-based role, you will increase penetration and engagement within our existing client base while actively hunting for new business. This role requires you to conduct greater than 50% of your work outside your home office, nurturing relationships and pursuing new opportunities to meet a predetermined sales quota.

What You'll Do

  • Contact assigned clients to present opportunities for additional sales or extended usage based on their needs.
  • Identify and secure new SaaS clients through self-generated prospecting and company-initiated programs.
  • Execute all operational processes with excellence, including client engagement cadences, product certifications, and order entry.
  • Participate in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed.
  • Educate and guide prospects through the buyer’s journey to demonstrate how Thryv can grow their business.
  • Partner with marketing and technology departments to execute sales strategies around new product releases and enhancements.
  • Build, nurture, and close a pipeline of prospects.
  • Develop effective solutions to help customers succeed.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of related sales experience.
  • 3+ years in an outbound full sales cycle role.
  • Experience selling digital advertising solutions with knowledge of SEO and SEM.
  • Strong industry knowledge and ability to gain thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with strong emotional intelligence and adaptability.
  • Excellent time and organization skills to manage multiple priorities with competing demands.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment while following company processes.
  • Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new systems.
  • Associate degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience required.

Nice to Have

  • 7+ years of related sales experience.
  • Experience in a SaaS role or company.
  • Experience in Enterprise-level sales.
