Nutramax Manufacturing is seeking a Soft Chew Team Leader to lead our daily Soft Chew manufacturing and packaging operations. In this hands-on role, you will ensure all production and quality standards are consistently achieved while providing supervisory support in the absence of the Soft Chew Supervisor.

What You'll Do

Organize and prioritize daily production activities to achieve goals with no errors
Identify and report all discrepancies to ensure safe, pure, and effective products
Follow instructions on Master Batch Records, SOPs, and all related process documents
Check and calculate raw material and packaging quantities as needed
Perform set-up and adjustments to all manufacturing and packaging equipment
Weigh and label packages and prepare shipping request forms
Transport raw materials weighing a minimum of 50lbs
Ensure machines run at peak efficiency
Update production records, inventory sheets, and other documents as required
Consistently check work for accuracy
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and participate in end-of-shift clean-up
Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and proper manner
Train new employees on Soft Chew equipment, safety, SOPs, and GMPs
Perform other assigned duties as required to meet company objectives
Communicate effectively with other departments and function within a team
Follow all verbal and written instructions from your supervisor or designee
Use an electric pallet jack and complete necessary training when required

What We're Looking For

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
Three years of experience in pharmaceutical, dietary supplement, or food industry
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment and follow all written and verbal instructions
Ability to perform lifting, moving, and cleaning of equipment and parts
Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and organizational skills
Basic computer skills
Strong mathematical and mechanical skills
