Nadara is looking for a Social Sustainability Intern to join our Sustainability and Stakeholder Engagement Team for a four-month period with the possibility to extend. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in the renewable energy sector, focusing on sustainability and social justice. You'll contribute directly to meaningful projects that engage communities and integrate sustainable practices into our operations.
What You'll Do
- Play a key role in shaping our new Community Engagement Procedure, helping define how we engage with and support communities hosting our renewable energy projects.
- Support the trial of innovative new initiatives designed to deliver lasting value to communities local to our sites.
- Help design a new Sustainable Procurement Procedure to further integrate sustainability impact into purchasing decisions.
- Develop strategies to increase local procurement and drive economic benefits in the regions where we operate.
- Contribute to the creation of impactful key performance indicators and targets to measure and improve the success of our social sustainability work.

- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
