Remote Recruitment is seeking a Social Media & Podcast Virtual Assistant to support a UK-based company’s online presence. You will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing digital communities, and assisting with podcast production to grow their digital footprint across platforms like LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram.
What You'll Do
- Develop and schedule daily LinkedIn posts aligned with brand tone.
- Create short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram showcasing recruitment tips and insights.
- Repurpose podcast content into clips for social media and YouTube Shorts.
- Write compelling captions tailored to an accounting and finance audience.
- Design graphics, reels, and stories using Canva or CapCut.
- Actively manage and respond to comments, messages, and discussions across platforms.
- Monitor online finance/accounting communities to increase visibility.
- Participate in industry discussions and track trending topics for content ideas.
- Maintain and update the content calendar to ensure consistent posting.
- Design marketing assets such as infographics, carousels, newsletters, and proposals.
- Support website front-end design and user interface presentation.
- Develop materials for insights documents, client proposals, and guides.
- Assist with planning podcast episodes, researching guests, and preparing interview questions.
- Edit audio/video using Riverside FM and CapCut.
- Create promotional materials like teaser clips, audiograms, and quote graphics.
- Track podcast performance metrics and suggest growth opportunities.
- Manage admin related to podcast production and guest coordination.
- Support and engage members in platforms like WhatsApp and Slack.
- Share updates, organise events, and maintain regular communication with community members.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience in social media content creation and management.
- Proficient with Canva, CapCut, and/or other video editing and design tools.
- Experience in podcast editing and digital promotion.
- Strong copywriting skills tailored to social and professional platforms.
- Comfortable working across multiple channels (LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram).
- Experience managing online communities (WhatsApp, Slack).
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Access to a reliable laptop and high-speed internet connection.

- Riverside FM experience a plus.
