Migaku is looking for a Social Media Manager to lead and grow our brand presence across platforms. You will work closely with our existing social media team in Japan to plan, execute, and optimize content that drives brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
What You'll Do
- Co-develop and execute social media strategies that support brand growth and engagement
- Collaborate with the existing social media team on content ideation, creation, and scheduling
- Come up with and participate in short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule across all major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, YouTube)
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth, etc.)
- Stay current on trends, memes, and emerging platform features
- Engage with our community: respond to DMs, comments, and mentions
- Collaborate with content creators, influencers, and internal stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience managing social media for a brand or content creator
- Solid understanding of platform-specific best practices and trends
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with content creation and editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, etc.)
- Self-starter with excellent time management and collaboration skills
- A sharp creative eye and attention to detail
- A demonstrated interest in language learning, with the ability or willingness to learn new languages
Nice to Have
- Video editing or production skills
- Comfortable in front of the camera and willing to participate in content
- Experience working with fast-growing digital brands or creator-led companies
- Familiarity with SEO, email marketing, or analytics tools
- Manage or support paid social campaigns if applicable
