Fahlgren Mortine is looking for a Social Media Manager, Influencer to lead strategic influencer and social media programs for key agency accounts. You will serve as a senior counselor, driving measurable impact through integrated, insight-driven campaigns.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development and execution of integrated influencer and social media strategies aligned with overarching client objectives.
- Provide senior counsel to clients on influencer partnerships, content strategy, measurement frameworks, and compliance best practices.
- Oversee multiple influencer and social programs simultaneously, ensuring strategic integrity and on-time execution.
- Identify and cultivate influencer partnerships that authentically align with brand values and campaign objectives.
- Ensure all influencer programming complies with FTC disclosure guidelines and platform requirements.
- Collaborate across PR, paid media, creative, and analytics teams to align strategies with fully integrated communications plans.
- Leverage data and performance insights to optimize programs and recommend strategic pivots.
- Identify organic growth opportunities within existing accounts and support expansion conversations.
- Support new business efforts through strategic input, influencer analysis, proposal development, and client presentations.
- Mentor and manage junior team members, providing direction and professional development support.
- Contribute to the evolution of the agency’s social and influencer practices by identifying process enhancements and emerging trends.
- Maintain a strong pulse on platform shifts, creator economy trends, and evolving best practices.
What We're Looking For
- 12–15 years of professional experience in social media and influencer strategy, preferably within an agency or integrated marketing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-channel influencer and social programs with measurable business impact.
- Strong client presence and proven ability to provide senior-level counsel to marketing and communications leaders.
- Experience overseeing multiple accounts and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Track record of identifying and driving account growth opportunities.
- Experience managing and mentoring team members.
- Deep understanding of influencer identification, vetting, negotiation, contracting, and performance measurement.
- Working knowledge of social media platforms, influencer tools, analytics platforms, and performance reporting frameworks.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with confidence in client-facing environments and new business settings.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
