Cognizant is seeking a Subject Matter Expert/Specialist Sr to join the Outreach project in Dublin. This project empowers nonprofits and public benefit organizations with Google Geo tools to visualize their cause. You will focus on researching and outreaching to government and non-government entities to collate geographic data for Google Maps.
What You'll Do
- Apply subject expertise to evaluate business operations and identify areas for technical solutions.
- Consult across business operations, provide mentorship, and contribute specialized knowledge.
- Oversee the development, testing, and implementation of technical solutions.
- Report project status and insights on partner expectations, user journeys, challenges, and best practices.
- Report details of outreach and operational issues to the GDO Outreach Operations Lead.
- Verify technical reference information, including user guides and system requirements.
- Conduct research in assigned cities to collate data from approved sources to enhance Google Maps accuracy.
- Perform problem solving, data research & validation, and QC.
- Communicate Google’s geo mission and engage with potential partners to share basemap data, primarily promoting the Google Maps Content Partner (GMCP) Tool.
- Update internal planning tools, logging research, outreach, rejections, and resulting submissions.
- Document project deliverables like partners contacted, data sources identified, and data sets submitted.
- Address and resolve external partner queries related to the project.
- Troubleshoot process and operational issues from authoritative data sources; develop deep understanding of data formats and structures.
- Manage the data pipeline from partner data receipt to launch schedule creation, ensuring high data quality.
- Utilize Google and non-Google tools to engage with new partners and track communications.
- Perform quality control for other team members and provide feedback.
- Liaise between external partners and Google stakeholders to convey requirements, validate data, and coordinate updates.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, GIS, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Business Development and B2B partnerships/sales, and customer service.
- 6+ months of experience collaborating with governmental entities and handling high-profile accounts.
- 2 Years+ of people management responsibilities.
- Experience working in digital/technology companies with tech products.
- Expertise in Salesforce.com and Google Drive.
- Knowledge in Geographic Information System tools such as QGIS.
