Computacenter is looking for a Business Partnerships Apprentice to join our Group Information Services (GIS) Partner Management team, which spans Sourcing, Procurement, and Partner Management. You will play a fundamental role in sourcing, onboarding, and managing relationships with strategic partners like Apple, Microsoft, BT, SAP, and over 200 additional suppliers. Through rotational placements across all three areas, you will gain a true understanding of why selecting the right vendors is critical.
What You'll Do
- Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, contracts, and agreements, updating the Partner Management Teams site.
- Conduct market research to help identify, shortlist, and onboard vendors.
- Create reports on supplier performance and cost savings using business tools and data.
- Organize and prioritize work schedules, including coordinating sourcing meetings.
- Identify opportunities to improve sourcing processes and reduce costs through data analysis.
- Work collaboratively in small teams to deliver tasks within budget and company guidelines.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 2 GCSEs, including Maths and English Language at grade 4/C or above.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Applications.
- Good administrative skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrates analytical thinking to solve problems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Nice to Have
- Customer service experience.
