Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) is seeking a Smart Factory Process Owner - Maintenance to lead the transformation of a core operational process. You will define its future state, establish global standards, and develop a comprehensive digital roadmap across our worldwide operations network. As a champion for change, you will lead cross-functional teams and own process-specific KPIs and strategy.

What You'll Do

Create, maintain, and refine the 'Process Target Picture' and Smart Factory maturity model for the Maintenance process area.
Identify, evaluate, and prioritize digital use cases, building business cases by acquiring and challenging key inputs.
Lead cross-site working groups to harmonize business processes and data standards.
Collaborate with Product and Project teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Own process-specific KPIs and track benefit realization post-deployment.
Manage stakeholder alignment across production sites and cross-functional organizational teams.
Align and manage the budget for process-area initiatives and support annual operating plan inputs.
Lead change-management activities, including training, communications, and adoption metrics, to enhance understanding of Smart Factory use cases.
Serve as the process subject matter expert in vendor and tool selection and contract negotiations.
Represent the respective process target picture in strategy, demand, portfolio management, and use case lifecycle meetings.

What We're Looking For

Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or other Engineering discipline.

Nice to Have

10+ years in process engineering, operations excellence, plant leadership, and/or transformation program leadership.
Demonstrated history of delivering measurable cost or quality gains across multiple sites.
Demonstrated continuous improvement experience.
Strong data-driven decision-making and cross-functional facilitation capability.
Demonstrated ability to set clear strategies and guide teams to results.
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to function at all levels across multiple organizations.

Team & Environment

You will have direct reports including Project Managers, a Product Owner, and OT Integrators. You will also have indirect influence over Product Owners, DevOps, and IT Integrators.

This is a local-country position. Available locations include USA NJ - Franklin Lakes, ESP Salamanca, USA PR - Anasco, USA PR - Humacao, and USA UT - Sandy.
