Responsibilities
- Architect, code, and launch EVM-based smart contracts that manage significant production-level total value locked
- Enhance smart contract efficiency by optimizing gas usage, storage structure, and execution expenses
- Develop upgradeable contract systems using proxy patterns combined with multisig governance models
- Integrate decentralized finance protocols such as lending platforms, decentralized exchanges, and staking mechanisms, preferably including Aave
- Utilize oracle networks like Chainlink and Pyth, and apply knowledge of collateral and liquidation systems
- Enforce security standards including defenses against reentrancy, proper access controls, and arithmetic overflows
- Develop and validate contracts using Foundry and Hardhat tooling
- Coordinate with backend developers using Python and TypeScript to connect off-chain services with on-chain logic
- Design and support gasless transaction experiences using Account Abstraction standards such as ERC-2771, EIP-712, EIP-4337, and OpenGSN
- Engage with cross-chain communication protocols and bridge technologies, including CCIP and comparable systems
- Take part in security audits, resolve identified vulnerabilities, and strengthen protocol defenses
